Push barges are unmanned open vessels that have standardized sizes. In inland navigation, usually 2 or 4 barges are coupled together to form a rigid ship’s hull. Their number depends on the water width of a river or canal. Due to its box like shape, the barge has only a small draft. The movable roller hatches cover the cargo of ore, sand or grain, and the hatches are removed to transport containers.
Dimensions: L 28cm x W 9cm x H 2.8cm.
As a barge it works great along side our Kibri tug pusher kit which can be purchased separately from our eBay shop. (Product 38520)
Kit comes unpainted. No glue or paint is supplied.

This kit is manufactured by KIBRI, it is branded as HO Gauge but is also perfectly suited for OO Gauge.
