OO Gauge HornbyR60070 CDA Hopper, EWS – Era 8 Wagon   Brand new item direct from our new Yorkshire model railway shop.  Product InfoChina clay, more formally known as Kaolinite, is one of themain products of the south west of England. Until the 1980s this cargo wastransported by rail using small wooden wagons covered withtarpaulin. Based upon the HAA wagon design, CDA wagons featuring aflexible hopper covering to protect the clay from the rain were introduced in1987 carrying the livery of English China Clays, although more recently theyhave been repainted in EWS colours.
