These terms and conditions govern your use of our website. Please read these terms in full before you use this website. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please do not use this website. Your continued use of this website confirms your acceptance of these terms.
These terms and conditions are applicable to all transactions between us the seller and you the buyer. 

The Items We Sell

All orders for goods through this website shall be deemed to be an offer by the buyer to purchase goods in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, and are subject to acceptance by us the seller.
We may choose not to accept any orders for any reason. 

All of our secondhand items are checked prior to being listed and are listed as honestly as we can, with any defects being noted.  Locomotives and any electrical items are tested prior to listing, and their running conditions are honestly stated. We recommend running our locomotives in as they may have been stored for a long period of time, and /or may not have been run in from new. 
Our new items, are directly from our suppliers. They are unopened and in the condition they arrived to us in. We know some collectors consider the pristine condition of boxes and packaging material as important to their items. We are unable to consider an item ‘faulty’ due to damaged packaging. You are welcome to return, at your cost, packaging which does not meet your expectations and we will attempt to replace it.

Whilst we specialize in railway models we do our best to describe the items we sell accurately and carefully. Please read the description of the item, and if you are happy with that then feel free to purchase the item. The price of goods shall be that stated on the website.

All prices are inclusive of VAT. On our secondhand items we pay VAT on the profit. For more information about the margin scheme please go to www.gov.uk/vat-margin-schemes/overview Because of this reason, we do not reduce the sale prices for countries that are not VAT applicable. We also, do not include VAT invoices for preowned item sales.

All prices are exclusive of postage, packaging and delivery charges. Details of delivery charges will be provided prior to acceptance of the order at the online checkout (Please see below for further details). 

Payment must be made in full (including full purchase price, delivery charges and VAT prior to acceptance of order delivery.

Unless otherwise stated, all goods advertised on the website are available in stock to the best of our knowledge. 

All orders will be processed in order of receipt by the seller.

If you order new items and in the event we are unable to fulfill your order. We will ship the items in the order we are able to, and ship the items when we get them back in stock. 

All orders placed with PayPal that require a different shipping address to that given on your PayPal account will need confirmation via email, as the PayPal system does not always give us the relevant information required. 

In the event that an item reaches you and is not as you expected we do offer a 28 day money back guarantee from date of purchase. So please once you receive your items, if they do not meet your expectations contact us as soon as possible, do not attempt to solve the issues yourself as this does void our returns policy.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Voucher Duration- Vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months form the date of purchase. Cannot be redeemed after expiry date. 

Use of promotional codes- Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with Gift Vouchers. 

Voucher Redemption- Vouchers can be redeemed in person only. There is no option for online or telephone sales redemption. 

Refunds- Vouchers are non- refundable other than within 14 day cancellation period as per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. No charge or credit given in the event that the voucher value exceeds the total cost of the order. – for example where a £50 voucher is used to purchase an order of £45.

Transfer- Vouchers are non- transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

Lost or Stolen Vouchers- Lost, stolen or destroyed vouchers will not be exchanged or refunded.
